Hi! I'm Jacquie - thanks for checking out my work!
When I'm not taking pictures - well, I'm always taking pictures. But aside from being a photographer, I am also a mommy!. I have a ten year old daughter, a five year old son and an crazy weenie dog - and they are my whole world. While I am a valley girl at heart, you can often find me searching out new beautiful and exciting places to take pictures. Beaches and fields of wild flowers make me just as happy as awesome street murals. (You can find lots of evidence of this on my instagram accounts.) I firmly believe that there can never be too many pictures.

I have been practicing photography since I was a kid, with my fuchsia 110 film camera. (Did I just age myself??) Before going into photography exclusively, I was a preschool and then kindergarten teacher for 15 years. I combined my love for children and my love for photography, by taking countless pictures of kids over the years. With degrees in Child Development and Education, I have a comfortable rapport with children that brings out their natural smiles and comfort in their pictures, rather than the forced "cheese smile."

When newborn photography started to become popular, I fell in love! I've spent the last several years learning the safest methods to handle and pose my youngest subjects. Being a teacher at heart, I've taken dozens of classes and workshops in newborn safety and posing so that I can provide the best pictures I can, while making sure to keep parents feeling 100% at ease. I am dedicated to producing timeless, crisp and dynamic images of you and your family. In addition to providing you with beautiful posed portraits, I love to shoot the candid moments when no one is aware of the presence of the camera. Sometimes the most candid moments provide the most special memories.
